DUPLICITY (iPM, Mainely House, A/V Club, NYC)

Born as a collaborative effort in the far northeastern US, Duplicity is a duo that is new to the NYC scene but making waves already. Both members met after moving to Maine and diving into the house music scene there, where they cut their teeth DJing both together and individually at the premier Maine venue for dance music, Flask Lounge. 

As DJs, the focus of Duplicity is to provide a smooth, deep, and driving sound that enhances, not overwhelms, the atmosphere of any venue they play. Although young, their digging goes deep and you can expect to hear refreshing selections and smooth blends. Not long after partnering up as Duplicity, they began to bring music production into focus alongside DJing. An early result of this is the signing of their debut EP, Avenues, which was released on intimate Projects Music in February of 2019. They have a forthcoming release on the Argentinan label, Deep Base Records, scheduled for May of 2019.
